Trading Terms
*Minimum order only $500 (customers within Australia)
*3 x Initial orders are on pro-forma basis
*14 day credit is available to approved applicants
*All 14 day accounts are from date of invoice (Nett 14)
Prices
*All prices on our price list are subject to change without notice. We will endeavour to advise customers of any changes however. All prices do not include GST. Notifications are usually sent via email or fax. Changes will be automatically updated on our website and may be viewed online.
Returns
*Any returns or claims of dissatisfied or damaged goods must be made to KNS International within seven days of receipt of goods. Digital photos may be required for KNS staff to make assessments on any claims. No action should be taken without notification.
*RESTOCKING: 10% restocking fee applies on goods returned to KNS International, at warehouse location. (Unit 3, 17-19 Musgrave Avenue, Welland, SA 5001)
Proforma
*Proforma invoices will be faxed to you. Payment must be made within 14days from advice. Once payment has been received we will despatch your order. If payment has not been received, your order will be cancelled and a cancellation fee may apply. Orders can be paid by direct bank deposit, cheque or money order. Credit cards including Visa, Mastercard and Bankcard are also acceptable. All products remain the property of KNS International until products ordered are paid for in full.
Handling Fee
Due to the intensity of labour required to handle and custom pack each order & increased labour costs, there will automatically be a 2% handling fee on total nett value of each order.
Backorders
*Any products ordered that are not in stock will be placed on back order with a deposit of 25% required. As soon as the product becomes available and in stock, you will notified prior to despatch.
Colour
*All of the colours shown on the front of our catalogues are available for backorders. All the colours may not necessarily be in stock for each particular item.
Freight
*A freight charge will be added to your invoice, except for Adelaide metropolitan orders.
Delivery
*KNS International will dispatch goods and have our own chosen carrier deliver your order. We welcome you to nominate your own chosen carrier if preferred. It is important to discuss this with us to check and compare freight rates to ensure that you are getting the best price.
Limited Liability
*KNS International will not be liable for stock that is damaged as a result of transporting goods using customers nominated transport company.
*KNS International will not be liable for claims of damaged goods after 7 days of delivery
Full Container Load
*FCL Prices are for a full 20’container load of approx 30 m3 of stock, delivered to your capital city only. A lesser volume may incur an additional freight charge. A 30% deposit will be required and the balance should be payed before delivery. Insurance will be covered. 8 weeks lead time from receipt of deposit amount.
Product Information
*CL - Clear Lacquer only NO PAINT
Natural metal with clear lacquer, grind marks, weld marks, sometimes rusty (raw metal look).
* AW - Antique White
Cream colour, rusty sometimes, patchy and chipped paint, scraped paint, paint peel, paint runs; this is the extremely shabby and rustic look. We don't guarantee the consistency of the white paint on each product. The level of rust on each item will vary also.
*None of our wrought iron products are packaged, boxed or flat packed.
*Our products are hand loaded and unloaded in and out of the containers.
*We lay each unpackaged item down onto a pallet to make the smallest sized pallet, then tie down with blue strapping and then the pallet is shrink wrapped.
*Wrought iron is hand forged, hand welded and solid.
*Most of the arbours, arches and gazebos come in long pieces, unassembled but are solid.
*BEWARE - nuts and bolts are bundled in newspaper and taped tightly; placed somewhere on the pallet (DO NOT mistake for rubbish and throw away).
*No assembly instructions are supplied, but we assist by phone.
*Some bending may occur in shipping and may need to be bent back - using strong hands (no discounts for bent items that can be bent back to normal).
*Most of our wrought iron products would take hundreds of years to fall apart. If you compare it with tubular wrought iron, our would last much longer. Tubular wrought iron is hollow on the inside causing it to snap if rusting occurs, our wrought iron is solid and therefore would not snap if rusted.
*Hand forged wrought iron and cast iron have variances and will surface rust without any further anti-rust protection. We suggest using penetrol.
*Our Excellent prices reflect the quality of finish. Please do not make comparisons with other suppliers paint finishes.
